In Nigeria the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) is launching a research project on AN ASSESSMENT OF NOISE EXPOSURES AMONSGT GOSPEL INSTRUMENTALIST IN PENTECOSTAL CHURCHES IN PORT HARCOURT CITY.

This is a part of a Masters of Science in Public Health (MSc PH) program in Nigeria, and the person in charge is Felix Emeka Anyiam, Research Officer & Data Analyst/Scientist at the Centre for Health and Development, Uniport.

Mr. Anyiam tells that he runs an Audio Engineering firm named Witty Inventions Audio (WiAUDIO) contributing to erradicating Audio Illiteracy in Houses of Worship. This work he sees as a mission given to him by the Lord.

In a country like Nigeria it is not easy to raise funding for such a program, and Mr. Anyiam has turned to IVSS Churchear, asking if there is any possibility to establish a contact granting funds for the project, especially for the audiometry testing for all study participants.

The documentation sent by Mr. Anyiam seems convincing, and we find this project very interesting, and clearly relevant from a Pastoral Care among Hard of Hearing point of view. We therefore challenge our members to consider if they can take on this project as part of their reaching out to Christians in a third world country.

As this dissertation is time bound, data collection period is April and May, 2018.

Responses to the challenge should be addressed directly to:
